There has been many a time that we Texans have found ourselves relating more with the “black sheep” then the pure and passive flock, but that doesn’t necessarily mean we’re worse for wear from our rough-and-tumble ways. It means we stand out from the crowd, and stick our necks out when needed. When our counterparts might not necessarily agree with our ways, they have to admit, we make our decisions with pride and dignity. Here are five great reasons why Texas is the proud, prodigal son amongst our brother and sister states.
