4. Marble Falls’ Walkway of Lights

Situated on the Colorado River, Lakeside Park in Marble Falls makes a beautiful backdrop for the annual Walkway of Lights. Open late November through New Years Day, this walking trail of twinkling holiday lights is a gorgeous place to spend a winter’s evening. Open from 6-10 p.m. nightly, Walkway of Lights is sponsored by local businesses. Entry is free of charge, concessions and photos with Santa are available for purchase. Donations are accepted. 5. Fredericksburg’s Light the Night Parade

Historic Main Street Fredericksburg comes alive for the holiday season on December 1 with the Light the Night Christmas parade beginning at 6:30 p.m. Featuring over 130 participants all decked out in holiday lights, this parade is a Hill Country staple. “AfterGlow” activities following the parade include shopping and food vendors, photos with Santa, and a holiday sharing village.
