At the heart of Horseshoe Bay lies Horseshoe Bay Resort. The Resort offers golfing, spa treatments, health club, tennis, lake activities, and more in its sprawling location. Lodging at the resort includes the Hotel Tower, which is made up of 249 hotel rooms and suites with elegant décor and floor-to-ceiling windows; the Paseo Vacation Apartments, which feature moderately-equipped kitchens, pet-friendly accommodations and separate living areas; and The Waters condominiums, which feature breathtaking views of Lake LBJ and offer luxury, comfort and privacy.

Abstract artist M. Allison Sacra opened Horseshoe Bay’s only art gallery in June 2016. In addition to Sacra’s personal works of art, Olio Art Gallery features pieces from Karen Novak, a Houston artist, and Stephanie Hart, a local Horseshoe Bay artist, with more artists to be added in the future. Sacra currently works at the gallery, selling paintings and creating new pieces. She also offers painting demonstrations and classes. Olio Art Gallery features distinctly different artistic styles and subjects and is a great addition to Horseshoe Bay.

4. Beer by the Bay Music Festival

One of the most exciting events in the area takes place in August, as Horseshoe Bay Resort holds its 3-day Beer By the Bay Music Festival. Tickets to the festival include all-you-can-eat cuisine and tickets to sample a variety of award-winning Hill Country microbrews, as well as admission to all musical performances, ranging from top Texas country artists to reggae, soul, and gospel. Sold by the pint, beers will be available during each night of the festival; and souvenirs, such as festival t-shirts, will be available as well. Buy your tickets early because last year’s event sold out.

5. Bayside Fresh Market
