Focusing on frugality, the brilliant minds at POPSUGAR Food have shared a video to their YouTube channel identifying “10 Things to Do in Austin For Under $20.” For those of you who love to travel, want to tour a great part of the Texas Hill Country, and see the state capital in a way you’ve never done before, they’ve definitely shared some worthwhile to-dos.

Without mincing words, they cut to the quick in their video caption, noting, “If you’re heading to Austin, TX, these are the unique spots you must visit. And no need to worry about busting your budget – you can have a fun-filled day with only 20 bucks. Take an early-morning swim at Barton Springs Pool, get up close and personal with peacocks, enjoy some of the most delicious tacos at Juan in a Million, and end the day with a big bite from Gourdough’s Donuts. It’s almost too good to be true.

Beginning with a morning swim, touring the Cathedral of Junk, and ending with a visit to Gourdough’s Donuts (with a few stops in between), POPSUGAR Food was able to pinpoint the cost for each item, bringing your visit in at under $20. Don’t believe us? Watch and find out. There are probably a few things you might not be keen on (hey, they’re only suggestions), and a few things you’ll want to add after talking to the locals. However, they certainly delivered on what they promised. Have you visited Austin or parts of the Texas Hill Country lately?
