The event saw hundreds of registrants and, despite rain conditions, collected numerous toys along the route to add to the toys that were donated by the Texan motorcyclists that were participating. In total, a semi-truck loaded with bikes and toys and bikes was collected together with monetary donations. The toys were then distributed to less fortunate families in Bell, Coryell, and Lampasas counties.

Over the years, the run (which is planned from Temple to Copperas Cove) has attracted riders from Dallas, Houston, and some from other states. Long-time participants keep returning year after year, in honor of the kids and the holiday season, and this year, together with toy donations, philanthropic riders raised more than twenty thousand dollars for the children.
