Texas Bill Murray Fans Can Scoop Up Tickets to See Him Perform

By  |

Did you hear the one about him showing up at a bachelor party? Or randomly taking part in a couple’s engagement photos? What about the time he bartended during SXSW in Austin? Bill Murray is at the center of many (true) urban legends (listed here in USA Today). If you want to spend the evening with this funny man and all-around interesting character, you have a chance to make that dream a reality this March in Austin.

The show, called “New Worlds,” will feature a cellist, violinist, and pianist along with Murray and will mold together literature, music, and performance. According to KSAT, “Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends will perform in Dell Hall at the Long Center March 18,” and “…the ticket price ranges from $59 to $149.”

Tickets are already available on The Long Center website here where the description of the show reads, “The Hollywood star’s love for classical music is young and his art of language boundless. All the more reason to look forward to a fascinating encounter between great music and great literature featuring two masters of their art.”

Unfortunately, many fans already invested in a VIP package (an additional $250), so the meet-and-greet is already sold out! But who knows, maybe you’ll accidentally meet Bill out and about around showtime in Austin.
