The best place for BBQ in the state of Texas is at Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que. Here you can choose your meat straight from the outdoor pit. Another great BBQ spot is Inman’s Kitchen serving its famous and one-of-a-kind turkey sausage.
If you are around town in the winter, you may get the opportunity to see wild Bald Eagles that migrate to Llano in the winter to build nests and have babies.

Annual Geezers and Scalawags Hill Country Tour. Easter is on April 5 this year, so we are in Junction the weekend after Easter. Headquarters is in Junction, TX, at the Legends Inn, but we usually manage to fill several motels in town. This is our club function. Commemorative caps will be on sale here in Lubbock and in Junction. A lot of us will go on Thurs, the 9th. If you don’t have reservations at the Legends, they have a waiting list you can get on.
