‘Boot House’ For Rent in Huntsville, Texas
“I’ve always been fascinated since I was a child to build houses that looked like the houses in story books: to do child-like designs and use a lot of whimsy. A life without whimsy is certainly a non-life,” KHOU quotes builder Dan Phillips. This imaginative artist is developing a special home in Huntsville that seems inspired by the story of the old woman who lived in a shoe. But in this case, it’s a massive cowboy boot!
Har.com says that the rental measures about 711 square feet and holds one bathroom and two bedrooms. The price is set at $1,200 a month, and it should be ready in time for a February move-in date. The mosaic granite on the floor is a beautiful touch to the home that Phillips used recycled and salvaged materials to create.
One day the “Cowboy Boot House” will even have a neighbor to match it also designed by Phillips, except the newcomer will be in the shape of a cowboy hat. Keep in mind, the photos below show the home still under construction, and the spiral staircase leads up to a deck.
