Expensive Shoes by Christian Louboutin Soon To Be Made for Babies

By  |

Christian Louboutin heels are the creme de la creme of designer shoes. They’re well-known in pop culture for their signature bright red bottoms and high price tag. Classic versions of Louboutin heels run between $675 – $945 and are available in a traditional pump height all the way up to an impressive 6 inches. But the iconic shoes will soon try a new market – babies. Click2Houston writes soon, Christian Louboutin will debut “Mary-Jane-style shoes in red, blue, pink and gold” meant for infants. The shoes will cost $250.

Footwear News says that the Loubibaby will become available for the most stylish of infants on November 16th. The idea was born as a collaborative project with Gwyneth Paltrow and her lifestyle brand called Goop. “I remember the first conversation which led us to the collaboration,” Footwear News quotes Louboutin. “There is nothing that I favor more than a good tête-à-tête, and for that, Gwyneth is a great partner in crime. When friendship meets work, the results are serious fun.”

The goop x Christian Louboutin collab will also include four different styles of women’s shoes including a sophisticated ankle boot for $945 and loafers with a spiked toe for $895. See the shoes here.
