For over 30 years the South by Southwest Festival (SXSW) has launched the city of Austin, TX center stage as it transforms into a mecca for the world’s leaders in the industries of Film, Music, Interactive, as well as Sustainability (Eco) and Education (Edu).
This March 10-19 the tradition will continue bringing together a multitude of industries for the greater good of helping creative minds across the globe achieve their goals. One of the most interesting facets of the event is the conferences which allow for an up close and personal experience with featured speakers and keynotes and features a variety of tracks allowing attendees the opportunity to explore what’s new in the world of entertainment, culture, and technology as shared by its website. “SXSW proves that the most unexpected discoveries happen when diverse topics and people come together.”
This year the festival is proud to announce “The Honorable Joseph R. Biden, Jr., the 47th Vice President of the United States, who will speak on Sunday, March 12 at 3:30 pm at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX.” Among some of the keynotes sharing their insights and covering a wide array of topics include Jigsaw Director of Research and Development Yasmin Green (Tuesday, March 14), and country music icon Garth Brooks in conversation with Amazon Music Vice President Steve Boom (Friday, March 17).
