The Texas Hill Country in 100 Words (Or Less)

As anyone who is a fan of the Texas Hill Country knows that getting to see everything that’s great about it takes a bit of work. It’s tall with rugged hills. It’s granite and Enchanted Rock. It’s San Antonio and Travis County, the Balcones Fault and the Llano Uplift. It’s yucca, prickly pear cactus, cedar scrub, and Texas live oak. It’s home to Austin and Wimberley and many other alphabetically-ordered towns (except one that starts with a “z”.) And it’s fresh spring water, cool nights, temperate days (in off-seasons) and equally temperate people (all seasons).
