When it’s hitting 100 degrees outside, it’s hard to imagine that Fall is right around the corner. But a new flavor of M&Ms might help you get into the autumn spirit. Click2Houston.com writes that the new candy, called “white pumpkin pie,” will come in shades of “brown, white, and orange” and in “both individual and large quantities.” It’s basically a pumpkin pie flavored M&M covered with white chocolate. The bag displays the famously anxious orange M&M on the front of the wrapping, mimicking all of our panic that the year is speeding by so quickly.

The Today Show writes that “these new M&M’s follow on the heels of previous seasonal M&M offerings of Pecan Pie, Candy Corn and Pumpkin Spice Latte flavors.” Today also points out that M&Ms autumn-themed announcement comes on the heels of another major company’s show of commitment to fall and all things pumpkin flavored. Starbucks will start selling Bottled Pumpkin Spice Lattes in grocery stores starting later this August. The 14-ounce drink will come in a bright orange bottle to let everyone know that you’re already anticipating Halloween and Thanksgiving. They’ll also release their new Pumpkin Spice Flavored Ground Coffee at the same time for home brewing.
