As we learned back in August, Six Flags Fiesta Texas will debut Wonder Woman’s Golden Lasso Coaster this spring. Despite the shivering cold temperatures on Wednesday, crews lifted the final piece of the single-rail coaster up into place. According to KHOU 11’s Facebook post, this piece reaches 113 feet! The Golden Lasso is the first single rail coaster of its kind, and roller coaster enthusiasts are looking forward to taking a ride on this cutting-edge coaster.

When YouTuber SFOT/SFFT Source visited Fiesta Texas in early December, the track was already well underway. In his video of the construction on the coaster, one can see how close the track will reach the water below it, and how intimidatingly tall the structure will be! Around the five minute mark, he shows viewers how big the bolts are that put together the coaster, and we’re given an exclusive look at the structure’s base.

And if you’re already dreaming of sunnier days and taking a trip on this new coaster, check out the video below from Front Seat Coasters, which takes you on the wild journey laid out by the single-rail coaster. Riders will sit one by one in a row for a one-of-a-kind experience.
