Those with a sweet tooth wait have been patiently waiting since they placed their orders for their Girl Scout cookies to arrive. Now, they’re here! KSAT reports that on Wednesday, a warehouse in Schertz was busy with troop leaders pulling up to load their U-Hauls with boxes and boxes of the delicious treats so their team can distribute the goods to hungry costumers.

Helen Montoya Henrichs, spokesperson for the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas, told the news, “This is big business. We’ll be distributing about a million boxes of cookies over the next four days.” What’s the most plentiful cookie? Henrich says the Thin Mint followed by the Samoa are the most popular choices.

The GirlScouts.org website listed a new choice of cookie available this year as well. They announced, “Joining legendary classics like Thin Mints and Caramel deLites/Samoas, the new Girl Scout S’mores cookies will be carried in select markets during the 2017 cookie season.” The newest cookie flavor of S’mores comes in two different options – one is a dipped graham cracker with icing from ABC Bakers, and the other is a sandwich cookie from Little Brownie Bakers. It will depend on which supplier the troop uses to determine which s’more cookie customers will receive.
