In a statement to billboard.com, Rimes had this to say describing her latest album, “Remnants are the pieces of ourselves we want to keep. Allowing one’s self to fall apart as gracefully as possible and then picking up the most authentic pieces or remnants of ourselves and moving forward.” With each track title reading like a chapter out of your life, this album is sure to spark a fire in many hearts and bring back memories of the past while reminding you how far you’ve traveled to get to where you are in the story of your life.

Besides being an award-winning artist, many may not know that Rimes has also written four books: two novels and two children’s books, according to wikipedia.com. She has starred in several made for TV shows and made her film debut in 2000 in “Coyote Ugly.”
