Harry Potter Fans to Receive an Extra Special Gift This Holiday Season

Fans of J.K. Rowling’s award winning book series turned movie phenomenon “Harry Potter” will want to mark their calendars for the 2017 holiday season. This year, select retail stores will host “Christmas in the Wizarding World.” The experience will showcase Hogsmeade Village in the midst of winter’s icy grip and will feature festively adorned windows and displays geared toward guest interaction.

Peter van Roden, Senior Vice President of Global Themed Entertainment, Warner Bros. Consumer Products said, “This holiday season, we are excited to introduce new Christmas themed experiences that further extend J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World into the lifestyle of our fans and consumers.”

Ollivanders is just the place to find the perfect tool for channeling your own form of magic. When visiting the wand shop, be sure to tread carefully amongst the hundreds of wand boxes stacked haphazardly toward the ceiling. A special holiday surprise also awaits any visiting wizards in training, all with the aid of the Wandkeeper, of course.

Additionally, visitors will be able to procure pictures to memorialize their visit, with a backdrop of their choice from several of the wizardly films. A diverse selection of “Harry Potter” wares will also be available for purchase.  Accessorize with a sweater or robe from the houses of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin, or treat your taste buds to some of the fandoms’ favorite delicacies.

For 20 years, the adventures of Harry and his companions have entranced the hearts of people around the world. The holiday scenes, first illustrated in the books and then brought to life in the movies, have been an especially beloved part of the “Harry Potter” experience. With the creation of “Christmas in the Wizarding World,” fans have an opportunity to immerse themselves in Harry’s world as they never have before.
