The Hill Country Welcomes a New Place For Reflection

By  |

Dripping Springs and the surrounding area have become the quintessential place for rest and relaxation as it boasts a number of cozy cottages, wineries and wedding venues. With so many places of interest, it has become a sought-after attraction for road-trippers and retirees, but also for young families eager for a quiet place to raise children. Whether you are passing through for the weekend or making Dripping Springs home, a yoga session might be just what the doctor ordered. Yoga, and movement practices, in general, are a healthy way to relieve tension, increase flexibility, and increase oxygen and blood flow through the body. Combining this tried-and-true practice with the calm and tranquility of nature is even better.

The Haven, located along Ranch Road 12 in Dripping Springs, offers a perfect place for quiet reflection and yoga, and easy access to Dripping Springs, Bee Caves, and Austin. Amy, Haven founder, says, “Our yoga classes emphasize breath and movement as we practice thoughtful and strengthening flows that promote mind-body wellness. We don’t say “can” or “can’t”, but “what’s available to you today?” We like that idea.

The Haven also plans to offer cooking and nutritional classes in the future, and are just the right size for hosting small parties and events. Think, girls night out and baby showers. There are also regularly scheduled classes for a drop-in fee of $12, or $10 when you purchase a package. Even better, the first class is free.

The Haven celebrated their Grand Opening event on March 24 and are ready for your bookings! Check them out!
