The Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly, a camp in Hunt, Texas is a superb place for family reunions. The ranch includes 500 acres, open year-round to the public. They specialize in spiritual retreats, summer and day camps, weddings, reunions, group meetings, vacation getaways and individual reservations. Their lodgings can quarter up to 525 people. Residences include hotel rooms, camp grounds, cabins, private casitas (small apartments) by the river, and group housing.

Along with Mo-Ranch, The Heart O’ Hills occasionally book family reunions, but never in the summer. This facility is a privately owned summer camp for girls, ages 6 to16, and was originally built as a resort lodge. Hunt is famous for summer camps for young people. Both Mo-Ranch and Heart O’ Hills have trained staff to focus on youth education, and leisure. For boys 7 to 14, Camp La Junta. The guys learn sportsmanship and competition at this camp. Camp Stewart, for boys ages 6 to 16 is family owned.
Want a camp for girls? Camp Waldemar, a Christian camp since 1926, features land and water sports. Art classes are also available. Camp Honey Creek is a girl’s camp for all ages.
