Houston, Texas is fast becoming a foodies wonderland with a giant new food hall set to open in the Fall of 2018. Lyric Market, as it will be named, is a culinary marketplace set to take the heart of downtown by storm with its endless dining options. “Lyric Market is the vision of real estate developer Jonathan Enav, as a joint project with Houston-based restaurant group Clark Cooper Concepts,” shared abc13.com.

The $58 million, 31,000-square foot culinary food hall is said to resemble the likes of “Harrods Food Hall in London, Sarona Market in Tel Aviv, Chelsea Market in New York and Mercado San Miguel in Madrid,” according to chron.com. The newest concept is in line to attract tourist and Houstonians alike with its restaurants, a bar and lounge, underground speakeasy and more, shared abc13.

The YouTube video above shows an already popular food hall in operation called the Conservatory Underground Beer Garden & Food Hall which opened in 2016.

The Conservatory is the first food hall in Houston with a 7,500-square-foot basement space welcoming you with a stellar staircase to its unique showcase that feels like you stepped into a scene from a movie set in an era you can’t wait to escape into for your dining pleasure. A menagerie of food options to tempt your taste buds awaits you.

Finn Hall, an art deco space waiting to be discovered, is another food hall set to open in the spring of 2018, along with Bravery Chef Hall, the “next generation” in food halls providing chef-driven concepts, and waiting to open its doors in the summer of 2018, according to its website.

Houston is not only booming but is about to take the food scene by storm with its carefully crafted and beautiful landscape atmospheres “filled with live music, and the hustle and bustle of an international market all in downtown Houston,” shares abc13. A food hall to be reckoned with, and which will rank right up there with those across the country.
