One of the most patriotic Texas Hill Country parades imaginable is part of the annual July Jubilee in Leakey. Spectators line the streets excitedly awaiting the floats in their colorful designs, decorated in balloons, ribbons, and all manner of state pride (not to mention smiling faces). A good, old-fashioned street dance is also a featured highlight of the event, welcoming friends and family to kick up their heels to great live music, as they toast to a wonderful weekend in the Texas Hill Country.

On Friday, you can witness the bull riding, ladies barrel racing, bronc riding, calf roping and team roping and more at the Leakey Rodeo Arena. On Saturday, a number of artisans and vendors will wow you at the heart of it all as you stroll with your family or sweetheart through a beautiful summer day. Arts, crafts, and food will figure prominently, so bring your wallet, and your appetite! The Frio Canyon Chamber of Commerce welcomes everyone, young and old alike, to come out to Leakey, pass the time away in grand style, and plan to do it all over again next year!
