A few months ago, chip company Lay’s asked for entries via social media for their “Do Us a Flavor” contest. Participants could dream up a new taste for Lay’s and tweet/Instagram/post their ideas. KSAT reports that recently, a San Antonio woman became a finalist. Ellen Sarem was flown out to New York City to receive the news that her “Crispy Taco” flavor chip idea had made it all the way to the finals and hit the shelves for Americans to taste and vote on.

“My fiancé loves crunchy beef tacos more than anything. I actually made them for one of our first dates, and after three years, I can now finally say that I’ve mastered cooking his favorite dish!” Lay’s quotes Sarem.

Voting is underway on the Do Us a Flavor website where Sarem is up for top honors along with Palm City, Florida’s Lindsay Hoffman for her “Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese” flavor, and Gregory Pope from Charlotte, North Carolina for “Fried Green Tomato.”

Go grab a bag of each at your nearest grocery store, and then vote for your favorite! And you can post your reaction on social media like @motionlmags did on Instagram. She says the “Crispy Taco” chips are bursting with flavor.
