Dripping Springs and Oak Hill got a treat when the League Kitchen & Tavern landed in Belterra Village. Tucked back in the center just a few doors down from Sky Theaters, this restaurant has something for everyone.
Highway 290 has been at a deficit for restaurants and shopping for some time. Belterra Village has answered that call. The sprawling communities of Belterra, Ledgestone, and Highpoint, among others, have begun to see some new players in town, making this once rural setting more connected to good food and entertainment. Now with many good options and more to come, the area can compete with bigger markets for people looking for places to shop, dine, and see movies.

This is also a community with many citizens who want the finer things in life, but in a casual and come-as-you-are setting. The League Kitchen & Tavern offers consumers just that. The sleek, modern decor is eye-catching but casual. The food is absolutely delicious. Appetizers like soft-pretzels and dip and lobster roll sliders are definite crowd-pleasers.

The lobster roll sliders are enough to order as a meal! With sweet rolls, rich lobster meat, tomato, and lettuce, you won’t regret your order.

Of course, anything pairs well with french fries, but why bother with fries unless they’re hand-cut? The League Kitchen & Tavern’s fries rival those of any restaurant in the state.

The League offers a full bar with some thoughtful cocktails and a great selection of wines and beers. They also haven’t skimped on desserts. There are many delectable options, but our favorite was the moon pie. Home-made, served cold, with marshmallow, graham cracker, and a layer of chocolate holding it all together, this is one treat not to be missed.
