Toxey was ready to celebrate his birthday with all 21 of his classmates, but on the day of the party, no one showed up. The Arkansas State Troopers heard about it and decided to change that.

On April 2, Toxey was dressed and ready to party for his 10th birthday, but not a single classmate of his showed up. Angela Andrews, his mother, posted a tear-jerking message on Facebook about how she felt so “heartbroken and helpless” for her son, as reported by THV 11.

Word somehow traveled to an interesting group: the Arkansas State Troopers. Two days following Toxey’s heartbreaking party, four state troopers showed up at his door ready to hang out with the birthday boy.

Of his new surprise, Toxey told THV 11, “They showed me all the keys to do the sirens and the horn. I also got to see the cage with the dog in it.”

The kind troopers also brought Toxey a birthday cake, a few gifts including some video games and a Razor scooter, and played a game of basketball with him in his front yard.

Toxey has always hoped to be an Arkansas State Trooper and after this birthday party, I’m sure we’ll see him in that uniform one day. He told THV 11 that “this is the only birthday that [he has] had with people coming.”
