“This guy got a lesson in parking,” Matthew Mills from Biddeford, Maine wrote on his Facebook page along with a photo of a silver Nissan double-parked and surrounded by rows of shopping carts. The December 18th post expressed the revenge many people wish they could take when someone uses two parking spots in a busy lot, so the picture was quickly picked up by the news.

Fox 13 reports that Mills wasn’t the one to do the dirty work of surrounding the silver car, and no one seems to have witnessed the driver’s reaction once they came out of the store to find their hidden car.

The photo has traveled around the internet in an even hastier amount of time than it took to park the offending vehicle. As ABC Action News reports, it’s been shared hundreds of times, but they reported it as taking place in Portland, Oregon.

Although it seems the origin of the photo might begin to be misconstrued, the thought behind it remains the same – watch out for holiday shoppers! Those stressfully shopping for last minute Christmas gifts mean business, and while they’re on a tight schedule, they might take the time to cage unlawful cars in a jail of shopping carts.
