Premiering on PBS on February 13, “Samantha Brown’s Places to Love” featuring the Texas Hill Country in a unique and inspiring perspective. The television show “…explores the emotional heart of travel and the people who change, challenge and strengthen a destination.”

On the show’s description link, Samantha explained, “I’ve always wanted to frolic through the Texas Hill Country bluebonnets. However, this beautiful region offers so much more. On my trip, I visited a wildflower seed farm that produces fields of stunning wildflowers, tasted fine cuisine at a farm-to-table German bistro, two-stepped with a cowboy at historic Gruene Hall, and ate strudel at the oldest bakery in the state. Here’s why Texas Hill Country is a place to love,” and it was coupled with a great show clip.

Comments on the Facebook post for the show were nothing but positive, including one viewer that thought it was the best show ever! (Who are we to disagree?!) In April of 2017, Samantha announced that she would be filming the new series for PBS, which would kick off in Texas. “From there, we’re taking this show all over the planet, highlighting incredible destinations that’ve captured my heart,” she explained. Although it hadn’t aired until this year, she continued to post behind-the-scenes photos and highlights on Instagram and Facebook, culminating in the official air date taking place last week. Did you have the opportunity to catch the Texas Hill Country feature and all that it covered?
