This week, it was announced that the charismatic songsmith Stevie Wonder will close out the F1 races on Sunday, October 22nd at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin. Pop superstar Justin Timberlake was already set as the Saturday night performer.

Both singers will take the stage at COTA’s Super Stage Festival located across a general admission lawn area in front of Turn 8 – 10. This special stage isn’t to be mistaken for the smaller Austin360 Amphitheater located outside of Turn 15 – 19. COTA shows can draw quite the crowd. KXAN writes, “Last year’s performance by Swift broke COTA’s record attendance when 269,000 people attended.”

Tickets are already available for the busy, internationally attended weekend in late October. Three-day passes general admission passes allow spectators to enjoy the races as well as the concerts for $159 if they’re purchased before July 4th. Because other event years have experienced crazy downpours of rain that halted the races, COTA has a rain guarantee. “Should it rain over two inches in the 24-hour period before the start of the race on Sunday, October 22, COTA will refund 105% of the value of the ticket for any guest who has purchased a 3-day reserved seat by July 4, 2017,” they write on their website.

Designated bleacher seating and day passes are also available here.
