In 1997, “Wings” was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress, and re-released in May 2012 to coincide with the 85th Anniversary, and again in 2017 for its 90th anniversary. The Academy Film Archive preserved “Wings” in 2002. Watch today and see if any landscapes are still recognizable!
