Are you, or someone you know, a member of our military, firefighter, police or EMT? If so, grab your swimsuit and sunscreen and plan to visit Schlitterbahn New Braunfels water park August 28 through September 1. During these days, you’ll get into the park for free during the park’s second American Heroes Week of the year.

But wait (there’s more!): It’s no fun to go to Schlitterbahn alone, right? Well, to sweeten the deal, Schlitterbahn is welcoming these heroes’ spouses and dependents to the park by offering them 50% off gate prices during American Heroes Week!

In order to attend Schlitterbahn during American Heroes Week, first responders and members of the military need to show their military ID or proof of employment at the waterpark ticket booths. Discounted tickets for spouses and dependents are available at the ticket booth. Invited members of military include active duty, retirees, veterans, reservists and Department of Defense.

By putting families first and providing them with unique water entertainment found nowhere else, the Henry family has made Schlitterbahn America’s first family of waterparks and resorts, delivering not only world-class waterparks in five cities across the country but a tremendous value for families and friends to build new memories every day. Schlitterbahn honors first responders throughout the year, making a difference in the community of New Braunfels and beyond.
