The fourth annual Smoked Dallas festival is being held September 23, 2017, featuring phenomenal growth since its inception, becoming a genuine Texas event for the record books! A full day of great entertainment and some of the best purveyors of barbecue from across the state coming to North Texas with their award-winning recipes combine in one remarkable event, and you need to get there along with your appetite.

The Smoked Dallas festival attracts the smoking guns from across Texas, with representation from all the various regions, including North, South, East, and West Texas, the Panhandle, the Hill Country, Big Bend, and the Gulf Coast (God bless them). In addition to great barbecue, dessert is also provided to round out the event with something a little sweet, while you listen contently to the music that you’re a little sweet on.

In prior years, this festival featured visiting T.V. chefs, a three-hour barbecue tasting segment (while it lasts), and a day full of live entertainment. And this year looks to be no straggler in mimicking that successful layout. Main St. Garden Park in downtown Dallas is the place to be for delicious food, good times, and a rockin’ music festival featuring Charley Crockett, the Vandoliers, Dean Fearing’s Lost Coyote, and Cameron Matthew Ray. You may not be able to buy happiness, but you can buy a ticket to Smoked Dallas, and that’s about as close as you can get!
