You also might want to take advantage of their happy hour and fantastic, fresh margaritas. If southern comfort is more your style, the League Kitchen and Tavern offers a great variety including burgers, chicken fried pork chop, and a grown-up grilled cheese! They also feature a great drink selection to pair with your meal. And the Grove Wine Bar and Kitchen features fantastic views of the Texas Hill Country together with great wine and delicious food, such as an order of chicken and waffles you can’t wait to delve into. Also a fan-favorite: their flavored Mimosas and their Bloody Mary bar!

If you’re into being active, the Hamilton Greenbelt or Lakeway City Park feature everything you’ll need to keep up, including walking/jogging trails, green space, volleyball courts, swimming, and hiking. If you’d rather hit the links, there are four gorgeous golf courses in the immediate vicinity. Spanish Oaks Golf Club, Falconhead Golf Club, Lakeway Country Club (Live Oak and Yaupon courses), and Flintrock Falls are all well designed and blend nicely into the Texas Hill Country scenery. And finally, if you’re more of an indoors person, you can bring your own bottle of wine and paint your own masterpiece to take with you from your trip to Lakeway at Painting with a Twist.
