If your first or last name is “Sydney,” United Airlines wants to hear from you! KHOU writes that in order to celebrate the airline’s new nonstop flight from Houston to Sydney, Australia, United wants “Sydney”s to enter into a sweepstake to catch a free flight. “The prize includes round-trip tickets for the winner and a guest on the inaugural flight from Houston to Sydney, accommodations at the Westin Sydney for five nights and a $500 prepaid card for the trip,” the news explains.

Those who are eligible should enter here as soon as possible to win a trip on the January 18 flight. Five “Sydney”s from Houston will win, and five people named “Houston” from Sydney will also come to the U.S. on the first flight on January 20!

According to Live and Let’s Fly, the flight from Houston to Sydney will take a whopping “…17hr30min flying west and 15hr45min flying east.” When leaving out of Houston at 8:00 p.m., one would arrive in Australia at 6:30 a.m., 2 days later. On the return flight leaving at 11:50 a.m., one would make it back to Houston at 10:35 a.m. on the same day. In other words, bring a good book or three.
