If you’re growing tired of Taco Bell’s tortilla chips, maybe you need to upgrade to their fries. Currently, a location in Irvine, California is trying out the fast food chains “loaded french fries” to see if American consumers are keen to the product.

According to Business Insider, the french fries “can be served simply with ‘habanero’ seasoning” or with “beef, tomatoes, nacho cheese, sour cream, and additional add-ons like guacamole, bacon, and jalapeño peppers.”

It seems logical that Americans would embrace the addition of Taco Bell’s fries to the menu since they’re popular in countries around the world. Many Latin American countries have “Papas Supreme,” and Grub Street writes that Japan has french fry option with cheese and onions, while Canada has a poutine-inspired version.

Customers can order the fries by themselves for just 50 cents or with the “Bell Grande” toppings for $2. Chew Boom reviewed the loaded fries, saying, “Taco Bell’s new Seasoned Fries actually pack a bit of a surprise with an initial blast of sweetness followed by the much anticipated and craveable saltiness flavor you’d expect from classic seasoned fries.”
