The Heart of Texas Airshow is coming to Waco at TSTC Waco Airport on March 18, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., featuring world class aviation, exciting air aerobatics, and top performers and military teams from across the United States in an array of flying feats and high flying action. With warbirds flying in close formation and the US Airforce Thunderbirds at their only Central and North Texas performance for 2017.

Let Your Heart Take Flight at the Heart of Texas Airshow in Waco
Smoke and thunder will fill the clear skies in Waco this weekend as the Heart of Texas Airshow highlights a number of planes, helicopters, skydivers, powered parachutes, warbirds, and so much more in this fun-filled day celebrating the ability to take flight, proudly honoring the US military throughout the event. Flights are available in a number of aircrafts as well as once-in-a-lifetime experiences in historic warbirds.
The show will also host food vendors, exhibits, and kid’s activities, as well as the Trojan Phlyers – a two-ship team piloted by highly-decorated combat veterans performing close-formation and highly precise aerobatics in their Trojan T28 warbirds! With the ability to take off on less than 800 feet of runway, climb to 10,000 feet in under 90 seconds, reach speeds of 335 mph, and dive faster than 380 mph, the T28’s are guaranteed to be a highlight of the airshow!
Vintage aircraft and aerial acrobatics will punctuate the action overhead, while military aircrafts, jets, re-enactors, and a large children’s area will keep you and your kids busy for this family festival of aviation.
