This may very well be the Texas Hill Country Ranch deal opportunity of a lifetime. Do you know someone who would be interested in this awesome place? We at TexasHillCountry.com are seeking a partner or investment buyer for a chance to own one of the nicest and potentially most profitable ranches in the Hill Country. The Lazy H Ranch is already set up to be a Christian or corporate retreat, family reunion or wedding facility – and it could also be a guest ranch, hunting ranch, or personal getaway with a huge return on investment.

The Lazy H Ranch is very well-located in Central Texas, within one hour of Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Llano, and Brady – and less than 30 minutes from Mason and Junction – plus, it’s on the Llano River. The pictures and descriptions do not do it justice! Only the eye can take in its beautiful rolling hills, canyons, river views, and much more.

It is ready-to-go with large homes, large “bunk” houses, worship or meeting facilities, cooking facilities, entertainment facilities, RV hookups, a swimming pool, swimming ponds, and even a creek running through it. The Ranch also boasts 4,000 feet of Llano River frontage. Everything is included with the property – equipment, furnishings, supplies, and so much more to have a first-class ranch. It was built mostly in the 1980s and early 1990s, but everything is in great shape, turn- key. The original ranch house overlooking the river is a little rough around the edges, and the roads (dirt, caliche, and paved) could use some attention. But, they are just fine for “ranch roads.” Other than those minor things, it’s ready.

Ranches like this would normally sell for more than $5,000 an acre for non-developed, non-scenic property, — but this ranch is fully developed, river-frontage property – and we have been offered a deal of less than $4,000 an acre. When you value in where the ranch is located, what has already been done to increase the property value, what is included – and that it’s on the Llano River – you will have to agree that this may be the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who wants a Hill Country Ranch.

If you are interested in working with TexasHillCountry.com, we would be willing to partner or investor and even consider a loan buy-out option to obtain and utilize this ranch for our huge following of fans. We would be willing to promote this ranch on all our websites, Facebook pages, print magazine, and possible upcoming Hill Country TV show – thus promoting and advertising it as THE Hill Country Ranch!

We have been offered a very special deal from the family, but either way, we would like to see this ranch go to a good family or organization and we can help make it happen. If interested, or you know someone that is interested, please contact Scott O’Neill at (325)792-6662 or [email protected].

Additional Information:

The property consists of over 600 acres of land located on the Llano River only a few miles west of Mason, Texas on RR 1871. It’s central location is only two hours from San Antonio, Austin and San Angelo, Texas, and less than 30 minutes from Interstate 10 at Junction, Texas. The rolling hills, canyons, 4000 feet of river frontage, and abundant wildlife are breathtaking. It’s populated with whitetail deer, turkey, hogs, dove, quail and has excellent fishing in the river.

History of the Lazy H Ranch:

Lazy H Ranch & Retreat is a very unique place the Harris’ felt was inspired by God. Harold and Ollie Mae bought the ranch in the early 80s. In 1985, Mr. Harris felt led to build a Christian Retreat for churches to bring their groups to for rest and renewal. The retreat was built and developed over the next two decades.

He began with the tabernacle. It includes a full kitchen, men’s and women’s restrooms, a storage room, a prayer room and a swimming pool. Just outside the tabernacle is a park that includes swings, shuffle board, teeter totters, volleyball court and tether ball. High atop the cliffs across the creek from the tabernacle sits a magnificent cross that lights up the park at night.

He then built two beautiful cabins. These cabins have 6 bedrooms which each sleep 4-6 and also 2 large multi-stall bathrooms.

An RV Park came next, with approximately 30 camp spaces with hook ups. These spaces encircle a building that houses an open air kitchen, an eating area as well as restrooms and showers. Also in this area is the Arbor. The Arbor is a large open air tabernacle/meeting room with a large stage and sound system. It also has overhead doors on 3 sides to close if the weather warrants. This area was often used for Cowboy Camp Meetings.

The “Quiet House” was built for pastors to come for rest and to seek God. It is a secluded and elegant rock cottage located on a high bluff overlooking the park and tabernacle.

Across the rocky creek is the “Prayer House.” It is also secluded from the rest of the retreat for smaller more private gatherings. It has a full kitchen, a living area, and 4 bedrooms with private baths. Next door to that is a small prayer chapel.

Not far from where the property starts is the gorgeous Managers House constructed of native rock. This house is a spacious 4 bedroom home that also housed the office.

Overlooking the Llano River with one of the most astounding views is the original ranch house. This house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home which was occupied by the Harris’.

The Ranch is a very unique property well equipped to facilitate corporate retreats, conferences or hunting and fishing getaways.

Lazy H is a testimony to how God wants the best for His people. Harold and Ollie Mae Harris have since passed on and the family has complete faith that God will bring the new owners to God’s spot in the Texas Hill country.

As you can see by the description, photos, and video, the Lazy H Ranch is quite a unique and beautiful facility. While it was built as a religious retreat, it would be a great facility for a corporate retreat, a conference center, a hunting ranch or even a rehabilitation center. Whatever its future may hold, the family hopes to sell it to someone that will enjoy it and create as many lasting memories as it has created for them.
