Texas House on the Market Features Bonus Amenity…It’s Very Own T-Rex

Those of you who are familiar with the fact Texas was once roamed by dinosaurs might overlook this next home-technique as superfluous. How many times can you repeat that a dinosaur once lived where a modern-day home now sits? Several apparently – and in quite a unique and funny manner.

As it turns out, a home which was listed for sale in Granbury had a bonus amenity. Described as a charming home with two bedrooms and one bath, the lake house not only comes fully furnished but comes with its own dinosaur – a T-Rex no less! Realtor Casey Lewis listed the home, which features a Tyrannosaurus Rex fishing from the backyard, cooking, and cutting the lawn.

Coming up with an unconventional (and not entirely untruthful) way to entice homebuyers to the Granbury listing, Lewis has a dinosaur giving a tour. Picked up by WVUE, the story has received some quick uptake. The house already has a pending sale, but in case you’re interested, the Facebook video tour can be seen at the link provided here. Not far off the mark, Lewis has hit the nail on the head with respect to dinosaurs living (and apparently working) in Texas. Tracks dated back eons have been found in parts of the state, and we’re home to several state-of-the-art facilities that house their fossils. In fact, proof that the Texas Hill Country itself was once considered the shore of the Gulf of Mexico exists in dinosaur fossils and tracks that have been unearthed in recent years. Dinosaurs roamed the earth, ruled parts of Texas, and apparently still had to do such menial tasks as cut the grass!
