H-E-B, Walmart, and Trader Joe’s Issue Voluntary Vegetable Listeria Recall

According to WFAA, H-E-B recently issued a voluntary recall of vegetable products from Mann Packing. Now, Texans should take notice that Trader Joe’s and Walmart have followed suit by recalling select products. WFAA lists them as the following with their UPC code in parentheses:

Within the press release concerning the vegetable products on the FDA website, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration explains that the California-based company Mann Packing is exercising great caution with this recall since only one item has tested positive for listeria. It was discovered by a random test from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, but at this time, no illnesses have been reported.
