Wings & Beer Festival Planned in San Antonio This March

By  |

Last week, many Texans jotted down San Antonio’s Barbacoa & Big Red Festival on their calendar for May, but another tasty fest that deserves a mark on your calendar will occur in the Alamo City this March. MySA.com writes that on March 24, the Wings & Beer Festival will take place at the Alamo Beer Company at 202 Lamar Street from noon to 4:00 p.m. Vendors from across the state will come together to serve delicious wings to visitors who can then vote for their favorites. And of course, there will be plenty of Alamo Beer to wash down those flavorful chicken wings.

On the Wings & Beer Festival SATX event page on Facebook, over 21K people have marked themselves as “interested” and 1K say they are “going.” Tickets will go on sale here on January 20. General admission (which includes 10 wings and 1 Alamo Beer) will cost $25 if bought in advance online, and $30 at the door. VIP admission (which will include “…early entrance at 11 AM, 15 wing tickets, a souvenir glass, and one 16 oz. pour of Alamo Beer”) will be available for $50 online only. Additional wings can be purchased for $1 each.
