You have at least one piece of decor that has the Texas flag or the Lone Star somewhere in your home. When we lived in North Carolina, I stocked up on my Texas paraphernalia to help fill the Texas-shaped void I felt.

9. You always look put-together when stepping out.

Before leaving home, makeup is applied and every hair is in place. It’s a must. Someone might see you at H-E-B, for crying out loud!

And it was the best Christmas dinner you’ve ever eaten. Hands-down.

12. You and your family have had your photos taken in the bluebonnets more than once.

A trip to see the bluebonnets (and have your photo taken) is like a religious pilgrimage.

13. You know exactly what generation Texan you are.

Fourth, to be exact.

14. You are the perfect blend of sweet and tough.

Both are important traits to have as you love your Texas man and raise the next generation of proud, independent Texans.
