With a gleaming swimming pool, bocce ball courts, hiking trails, as well as chickens and honey bees to explore, Mystic Quarry aims to provide an educational experience for families along with lots of fun and excitement. Make s’mores under the Texas stars or nap in the hammocks. With plans for an organic garden in the works, Mystic Quarry is a place where families can come together, disconnect from their devices and reconnect with nature and one other.

2. Even the most high-maintenance folks will approve.

The Tiny Houses offer a stylish and modern living space, with on-demand hot showers, coffee makers and the comfiest beds on the planet for those who prefer to upgrade their living conditions while on vacation. Custom designed by the owners, each tiny house is a little different–many offering loft areas that please kids of all ages. Furnishings by Joybird give the houses a decidedly modern feel, making the guest feel comfortable and pampered after a day spend tubing on the river.

3. It’s pet-friendly.

Mystic Quarry was also designed with pets in mind. Offering two dog parks on site, as well as dog-friendly accommodations, your four-legged friends will have the adventure of a lifetime on the hiking trails at Mystic Quarry. While dogs are the primary focus of the resort’s animal-friendly attractions, recently a “micro pig” came to stay and gave the resort an enthusiastic “two-hooves-up and a snort.”

The addition of Mystic Quarry to the Canyon Lake area has been refreshing. The Trents have relished in connecting with the Canyon Lake community and have used local craftsmen in the design and construction of the resort. In return, the Canyon Lake community has embraced Mystic Quarry with open arms. In fact, many locals make a habit of stopping by to check on the latest projects and additions to the campground and the Trents couldn’t be happier to have their support.
