Fredericksburg hosts an annual Oktoberfest filled with German food and fun. Fredericksburg has celebrated its German roots with Oktoberfest the first weekend in each October for the last 37 years. While some fall festivals restrict attendees to adults only, this one is open to the entire family. It even includes special activities for kids. But the highlight of the event will be the German food. Don’t miss the many authentic dishes at this event such as flammkuchen, jaeger schnitzel, pfeffernusse, and more.
