At 8 a.m. sharp each Saturday locals are lined up waiting for the oven at Clear River Pecan Company to open. Out come Sticky Buns; topped with pecans and paired with coffee, this is the perfect way to start a Saturday on Main Street.

With 50 cent wings and $2.00 pints of local craft beer from 4 to 7 p.m., this is a local favorite. A group of owners from the local craft brewery can usually be found taking up the entire bar. The wings come in two styles: re-fried and regular. Re-fried are this writer’s favorite!
Half Price on Beer Can Chicken Pizza!

At the Sozial Haus in downtown Fredericksburg, on Mondays and Tuesdays, large pizzas are half price from 4 to 7 p.m., and on Tuesday’s there is a double whammy – Texas beer is $2.00 off! The Beer Can Chicken Pizza is awesome!
