Gruene Harley Davidson will serve as a drop-off location for relief supplies for Harvey victims. If you live anywhere near New Braunfels, consider dropping off some supplies to help those on the Texas coast affected by the hurricane and subsequent flooding. Your donations will help those who lost everything in the disaster.

Some of the donations requested include items people take for granted every day. In a disaster, people often donate food and items for people and forget their pets. Harley Davidson will accept pet food donations as well as supplies for the pets’ owners. Most of the donations will focus on cleanup efforts. This means if you have tools, dehumidifiers, safety glasses, work gloves, extension cords, or anything that could assist in rebuilding, please consider donating. These items will go a long way to assisting those on the coast in demolishing flooded homes and replacing the damage.

The Texas Hill Country Bikers will not only collect donations but also host a benefit for Harvey victims. This benefit, called Let’s Fix Texas, on September 23 at 1 p.m., will be at JW Bracken’s Saloon in San Antonio. It will be a chance for the group to raise money for Harvey victims while enjoying food and music. Some of the members of their group were among those in the impacted areas, but the benefit would help all Harvey victims.

The Texas Hill Country Bikers is a Facebook group of motorcycle enthusiasts who seek to build relationships with each other based on their love of riding. As a group of Texans, they want to help others affected by the hurricane and flooding through collecting donations and hosting a benefit. They are just one of the many examples of how Texans are helping other Texans in this time of crisis.
