Curious Hawk Inquisitively Checks Out the KTAB Tower Cam

On Wednesday, KTAB posted a video to their Facebook page of a funny little happening that their tower cam caught on film. In the short roughly 30 second clip, a hawk is seen taking a good long look at the camera. It almost seems to know it’s being looked at, as well, but it isn’t backing down from its curious stare. On a clear day with perfect blue skies, the video really shows how beautiful nature in Texas is. Take a look at the bird’s stunning, delicate feathers and its powerful beak and eyes in the video below.

The news station based out of Abilene, Texas, wrote “KTAB had an unexpected visitor checking out our tower cam this afternoon. Station mascot!? If he comes back, we just may have to name him!” The Facebook post already has nearly 13K views.
