Music seems to be the highlight of this week’s Texas Hill Country events. Summer fun will be taken up a notch by local musicians, a little wine, some fundraising, and relaxing river floating. Yes, this week is going to be a good one!

Gospel Brunch with a Texas Twist The Gospel Brunch is led by Bret Graham, one of Gruene Hall’s favorite country musicians. Bret sings his cowboy style Gospel tunes and accompanies The Gospel Silvertones, one of Austin’s most uplifting Gospel groups. Rock Off Cancer Fashion Show Local children being treated for cancer at University Health System’s South Texas Pediatric Blood & Cancer Center will walk as models in a fashion show and attendees can buy t-shirts, teddy bears, raffle and silent auction items to support University Children’s Health. Attendees will have the opportunity to take photos with the Love Helpz Kidz Tour mascot Buddy, Marvel Superheroes and Star Wars Characters. There will also be several other activities during the event such as caricature drawing and face painting. Marble Falls Rodeo Marble Falls Rodeo Association has been hosting rodeos every third weekend in July since 1956. It is a non-profit association that uses funds not needed for the upkeep of the arena for local charities and scholarships. The rodeo includes barrel racing, bareback broncos, bull riding, and calf roping. This is a steadfast Marble Falls tradition that not only offers a good time, but is also for a good cause.
