After breakfast, water recreation at Mo-Ranch is available in a variety of ways—boating, floating, swimming, or merely viewing it at sunset. Young legs enjoy the Mo-Ranch hiking trails, and a zip line exists for the more adventurous thrill-seeker.

Families never experience a dull moment at Mo-Ranch, but summers fill quickly—book your family reunion for Mo-Ranch years in advance.

Eating options abound at Mo-Ranch, in Hunt and Kerrville. Families can cook their own meals or eat in the Mo-Ranch dining room. The dining room provides three meals daily, and the patron pays per meal. You say cooking isn’t your thing, and your group wants to explore other eateries? Easy remedy. Feasting is available in Hunt at the Hunt Store. The Hunt Store highlights informal, pit barbeque. Live music and entertainment is often available. If you cook or picnic in your cabin, you’ll find numerous food items and drink to purchase.

If barbeque doesn’t appeal to your group, remember Kerrville is a short twelve miles away. Here you’ll find an abundance of food choices—from the informal to the formal.

Along with Mo-Ranch, The Heart O’ Hills occasionally book family reunions, but never in the summer. This facility is a privately owned summer camp for girls, ages 6 to16, and was originally built as a resort lodge. Setting on one hundred acres, the lodge was remodeled five years ago and now has twenty-four hotel-type rooms. Dorm style sleeping arrangements are also available. http://www.hohcamp.com/
