Hunt is famous for summer camps for young people. Both Mo-Ranch and Heart O’ Hills have trained staff to focus on youth education, and leisure. For boys 7 to 14, Camp La Junta. The guys learn sportsmanship and competition at this camp. Camp Stewart, for boys ages 6 to 16 is family owned.
Want a camp for girls? Camp Waldemar, a Christian camp since 1926, features land and water sports. Art classes are also available. Camp Honey Creek is a girl’s camp for all ages.
