On the Banks of Spring-Fed Geronimo Creek

Placed along the banks of the spring-fed Geronimo Creek, just five minutes outside of Seguin, the Geronimo Creek Retreat offers accommodations to suit most any visitor. Take your pick among the perennially popular (not to mention surprisingly luxurious) Teepees, the elevated Treehouse Cabins or the newest accommodations, the Getaway Cabins. Each option has its own allure and is sure to please all of the nature lovers in your life.

Teepees, Treehouses, or Getaway Cabins

Many people dream of sleeping under the Texas stars in a teepee and at Geronimo Creek Retreat, you can do just that! The Teepees at Geronimo Creek Retreat come fully furnished and air-conditioned. Each teepee has its own private bathroom nearby and sleeps four to six people comfortably. Another comfortable option is the Treehouse Cabin, which features all of the comforts of home, including a full-sized kitchen, multiple televisions and a spacious (shared) deck that overlooks the beautiful and relaxing creek.

The latest additions to the Geronimo Creek Retreat are the Getaway Cabins. These elevated cabins rest under the sweeping pecan trees on the property and feature an entire front wall that opens, creating an outdoor living area for enjoying the Hill Country’s fresh breezes and the sounds of nature at dusk. The Getaway Cabins can sleep four to five folks comfortably and have all of the comforts of home, including air conditioning and heat, a stocked kitchenette, TV and WIFI.

Activities to Entertain Everyone

If outdoor activities are on your to-do list, you’ll be excited to know that there are activities for everyone – young and old – at Geronimo Creek Retreat. Try your hand at kayaking or paddle boarding on the creek, take your turn on the rope swing, then soak in the hot tub at night. Geronimo Creek Retreat has fun activities like volleyball and cornhole as well as a game room and floating dock for fishing or just fish-watching.

The Geronimo Creek Retreat is only 13 miles from one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state: New Braunfels and its equally-historic neighbor, Gruene. Spend your days lunching at the creative restaurants in New Braunfels, strolling through the unique stores in Gruene, spend your evening tapping your toes at Gruene Hall, then retire to your comfortable cabin at Geronimo Creek Retreat and sleep under the stars.

The ideal location for a family weekend away, a girls’ weekend (“Glamping” anyone?) or just a peaceful place to collect your thoughts and reconnect with nature, Geronimo Creek Retreat has accommodation options for everyone. A place to make memories and a place to come back to year after year, Geronimo Creek Retreat is just that: A retreat in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.
