Hill Country Artist Rita Ball is Painting What She Loves

“Google ‘dung beetles’ and, believe it or not, there is some interesting information on them, from how they navigate, where they take the dung, and what they do with it. Then you can say you learned something new today.”

Rita’s work, usually done in her “quiet room” studio, most excites her when she has an idea that she can’t wait to start painting. She is sad when she’s finished – much like reading a good book that you don’t want to end. Her work is found in the Tye Preston Library, Brookshire Brothers Grocery, and the “Best of Hill Country Artists” book. Online, you can see it on Facebook/R.J. Collectibles – Fine Art.
