Spring is the time of year that many Texans love above all others. The trees begin to bud, the days begin to get longer, and the temperatures begin to warm but are not yet sweltering. The abundance of great music events and festivals that arise in the spring can be no coincidence. Come March and April, Texans are ready to enjoy the outdoors, and all the better if good food and music are involved. The Llano Crawfish Open, happening April 20 and 21, will provide us eager Texans a healthy dose of food and music to bring in spring in style.

Bring your appetite. Not only will there be a crawfish boil, but patrons can also choose among barbeque, jambalaya, and potatoes and corn among other food options.

Tracy Byrd and Flatland Cavalry headline the weekend on Friday and Saturday night, but you also won’t want to miss Les Hartman and Eleven Hundred Springs and the other music acts that will hit the stage throughout the two-day event. Make no mistake, food, and music will not be in short supply!
