In Sleepover of a Lifetime, Kids Slept on Dallas Cowboys’ Field
On Saturday, 100 kids had the sleepover of a lifetime at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, where the Cowboys play. The children were greeted with Dallas Cowboys swag like a photo, hat, teddy bear and matching bedding on top of a new bed – all of which they’ll be surprised they get to keep thanks to Hope To Dream.

Hope To Dream is a charitable program by Ashley HomeStore where a twin mattress, pillow, and comforter (valuing $650) are donated to underprivileged children between the ages of 3 and 16. Like the kids who took part in the huge sleepover, many children do not have beds of their own or have a very old unhealthy mattress, and Ashley HomeStore hopes to change that.

Ashley North Texas, part of the Ashley Furniture Family, set up the beds that took up about half of the entire football field. The event included a dance party on the field to make sure the kids could burn off some excited energy before trying out their brand new bedding. Once the children knew they got to keep all of their new items, their grins spread even wider on this exciting and heartwarming night.
